Where My Passion for Exploration Began

Growing up in el campo in the small mountain town of Barranquitas, Puerto Rico, surrounded by vibrant tropical landscapes, sparked my passion for exploring the island’s natural beauty beyond my hometown.
Over the years, I’ve explored more than 300 rivers across Puerto Rico and hiked countless off-the-beaten-path trails through the island’s tropical forests, including those hidden in El Yunque Rainforest. From my experience exploring the island, I’ve found that Puerto Rico offers far more than beautiful coastlines its greatest treasures lie in the mountains.
